ASDA - Uttoxeter

Welcome to ASDA - Uttoxeter, a supermarket located at Carter Square Unit 1, Carter Street, Uttoxeter, ST14 7LG. This establishment promises a vast selection of products in the heart of Uttoxeter, catering to your grocery needs with an array of choices that delight both the palate and the budget. With the convenience of self-service checkouts, customers can quickly navigate through aisles filled with a range of food items, from pantry staples to fresh meats and delectable breads.

One standout item that caught my attention is the ASDA Long Grain Micro Rice (250g), priced at only £0.70. It's perfect for those speedy weekday dinners and pairs beautifully with the ASDA Garlic & Coriander Naans (2 pack) at just £0.80—a delicious addition to any meal. For the meat lovers, the ASDA Buttery Garlic & Herb Chicken Kievs (260g) is a true indulgence at £3.40. The combination of buttery flavors and garlic is a feast that will surely elevate any family dinner.

  • Convenience: Open 7 days a week, it offers flexible hours for shoppers.
  • Affordability: Many items priced at £2 and under ensure budget-friendly shopping.
  • Variety: From pantry essentials to tempting snacks, there's something for everyone.

However, customer experiences vary—some shoppers appreciate the quality of the food and the convenience of self-service options, while others express concerns over parking fees and the lack of traditional checkout assistance. A recent review by Ben Walker highlighted frustration with parking policies, contrasting with Daphne Harries' glowing remarks about the supportive staff at the self-checkout.

In conclusion, while ASDA - Uttoxeter boasts excellent food offerings and affordability, navigating the shopping experience may require attention to signage and parking rules. The food selection is commendable, and the helpful staff can turn an ordinary visit into a pleasant one. Next time you're in Uttoxeter, consider stopping by to explore what ASDA has to offer, but keep an eye out for those tricky parking signs!

Disgusting predatory parking charging with misleading signs - Asda corporate please read this - like most supermarkets says 'max stay hours' - then in TINY WRITING says 'parking charges apply' - received a wholly unfair £ fine - parking eye didn't even let me know I had a parking fine until days after it was issued, you only have days to pay the lower £ - I am appealing this!!I WILL NEVER EVER EVER RETURN TO THIS STORE, EVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!PLENTY OF OTHER SUPERMARKETS IN UTTOXETER WITH FREE PARKING.Do yourself a favour Asda & get the vultures at parking eye well away from your business otherwise your store will go under soon.

I didn’t get the name of the worker, but whoever was at the self checkout section yesterday at pm (ish) wearing the cool green flower hair clips was SO LOVELY! A great help for two clueless gals who had never been in the shop before, and made us feel at ease. I work in retail and it can be stressful so for her to be super nice was just great :)

This store is self-service only, which is surprising considering how many reviews you have here from customers who are clearly unhappy with this practice. You have staff standing around in groups doing nothing and refusing to serve on the tills. I left my products right there and shopped elsewhere. It's unsurprising to see every time I pass by this shop it's almost empty. Self-service is totally impersonal and puts jobs at risk, as well as putting your own customers off returning.I refuse to use any self-service tills. I am not your employee, I'm a paying customer. You need only step into any other store with manned tills to see the difference in the volume of customers.

Contacted them via twitter in regards to a parking fine. They said they were requesting a cancellation on their part. I hadn’t thought about it again until today when I received a letter from a debt collection agency asking for £. The original fine was only £! We’ll be visiting the area again soon and won’t be shopping at Asda again.
